Indianapolis 500

  • INDIANAPOLIS -- Before the start of Sundays 96th Indianapolis 500, Dario Franchitti stood under an umbrella held by his wife -- actress Ashley Judd -- to shield himself from the scorching sun.

  • INDIANAPOLIS - Dario Franchitti won the Indianapolis 500 for the third time Sunday after Takuma Sato crashed on the final lap. The Japanese driver went for the lead going into the first turn, pulling even with Franchitti.
