The killing

  • NEW YORK (AP) -- When The Killing returns for its second season on Sunday, it will arrive with just a fraction of the hoopla and hysteria that greeted another AMC show, Mad Men, the week before.

  • The Danish are apparently a patient, good-natured people. You can take them through a lengthy, twisty mystery like Forbrydelsen (the TV series from which AMCs The Killing was adapted) and at the very end reveal nothing.

  • For starters, it seems Rosie Larsen's murderer is still at large, as Linden quickly proved Richmond's innocence and some unknown entity left some of the late teen's belongings on her parents' doorstep.

  • Like a lot of viewers, I was a bit frustrated with last years season finale of this Seattle-set mystery.

  • Fans of Nordic noir TV hit The Killing may want to look away – now. Not that the Duchess of Cornwall, visiting the set of the Danish thriller on Tuesday, was giving anything away about the new series.

  • The Killing will return to Channel 43 in Tempe tonight with its second season, and now fans are being given a glimpse at the episode and the upcoming season.

  • Ann Coulter on Sunday was anxious to defend Florida's so-called "Stand Your Ground" law, arguing that it should not be a part of the debate in the killing of an unarmed African-American teen.

  • Bubble Watch is taking the week off in honor of the first day of April. Two cable shows return tonight with their second season premieres, HBO's Game of Thrones and AMC's The Killing.

  • All things considered, perhaps bringing The Killing (* * 1/2 out of four, AMC, Sunday, 8 p.m. ET) back on April Fools Day wasnt AMCs best idea.

  • Joel Stillerman, AMCs senior vice president of original programming and production — aka The Boss — and the programming executive most responsible for The Killing, knew he had arrived in Vancouver: It was raining.
