David wilson

  • The Giants' drafting of first-round pick RB David Wilson from Virginia Tech makes their backfield picture — as well as perhaps their special teams — a little clearer.
  • (YAHOO!)
  • When the Giants cut Brandon Jacobs it left a big gaping hole in their backfield. They filled it on Thursday night with a smaller, faster and more acrobatic back.

  • The defending Super Bowl Champions closed out the first round by selecting Virginia Tech running back David Wilson. The pick answers the Giants biggest need and gives the team a big play runner, capable of being an every-down workhorse.

  • Wilson was presumably behind Trent Richardson, which means the Bucs didnt have to trade in front of the Giants for Doug Martin after all.

  • The New York Giants took Virginia Tech running back David Wilson with the 32nd and final pick Thursday night, giving the ACC three players taken in the drafts first round.

  • The New York Giants concluded the second-round by selecting LSU wide receiver Reuben Randle. The talented wideout joins running back David Wilson as the second playmaker added to the Giants already potent offense.

  • Update: The Giants selected Wilson in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft, 32nd overall. Recommendation: Wilson is a superb talent who could become a well above average starter if he learns to run with more patience.
  • (YAHOO!)
  • They added running back David Wilson on Thursday and went for another big playmaker with Randle. We love it. Randle was one of NFL Films favorite receivers in this draft, and that makes him one of our favorite receivers.
