Joe posnanski

  • Less than three years after joining the staff at Sports Illustrated, Joe Posnanski is leaving. Posnanski has told the magazine he's moving on, and his next stop is the USA Today/MLB Advanced Media joint venture that was announced last month.
  • (The Big Lead)
  • Joe Posnanski took a moment to reflect on Utleys situation with this tweet: Thinking about a What Could Have Been Hall of Fame. And that, sadly, that Chase Utley might join Grady Sizemore there. Its true.
  • (NBC Philadelphia)
  • Afterwards people see a need for others. Do a Google search; look up Joe Posnanski's story on Scott Pioli dating back to Dec. 2010. Besides being recommended reading for Chiefs fans, I saw how 2011 fit Pioli's plan.
  • (Blue Springs Examiner)
  • You may know Schur from his role as Mose from The Office (a show he wrote for), Parks and Recreation where hes currently the head writer, and the Sports Poscast with SI scribe extraordinaire Joe Posnanski.
  • (Felix Doubront, Jose Iglesias, Mike Aviles, and Previews Galore - Over The Monster)
  • The NIT gets dunkdialed! » The Bob Knight elephant in the room will no longer be ignored. » Joe Posnanski spends 24 hours in Las Vegas during the first weekend of the NCAA tournament. Somethign Id love to do one day. » The persecution of Jamar Samuels.
  • (CBS Sports)
  • Mike Cameron has a higher career WAR than Jim Rice, and Joe Posnanski tackles it beautifully here.
  • (Pinstripe Alley)
  • Jeff Eisenbergs story on Billy Donovan and Rick Pitino was better. » On Tuesday I linked you to Joe Posnanskis March Madness experience. Now, Bill Barnwell and Jonah Keri check in from the Las Vegas Hilton.
  • (CBS Sports)
  • You know how one of my love/hate podcast relationships is with Rich Eisen, right? (A close second behind Joe Posnanski.) But the bottom line about Eisens show is that its well-connected within the NFL world, with good guests and good information.
  • (RealClearSports)
  • I beg to differ, but I also tend to agree with what Joe Posnanski wrote in his tribute to previous Tribe announcer Herb Score: With the weather, your mothers spaghetti and meatballs and baseball announcers, quality is beside the point.
  • (YAHOO!)
  • Speaking of Vegas … SI.coms Joe Posnanski had the same idea I did — spend March Madness in Vegas — and wrote about it eloquently. Its really a different world, and I cant wait to go back next year, only for all four days.
