Bent

  • Poor NBC has achieved another one of those milestones it would rather avoid. Its newest show, Bent, debuted Wednesday night with the networks lowest ratings ever for an in-season sitcom premiere.

  • NBC rolled out a new romantic comedy Wednesday night, Bent, starring Amanda Peet and David Walton. Despite garnering some fairly good reviews (the word "charming" was often used), Bent ended up ranking fourth in the 9 p.m.

  • LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - NBCs new comedy Bent got off to a discouraging start Wednesday night, while Foxs American Idol, while down slightly from last week, still pushed the network to an overall win for the night, according to preliminary numbers.

  • The series premiere of "Bent" on NBC could only muster 2.6 million viewers. In the 18-to-49 category, it was NBC's lowest-rated in-season comedy premiere ever.

  • LOS ANGELES — After last starring on television in the short-lived series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Amanda Peet (The Whole Nine Yards, Syriana) returns to television once again in the new comedy Bent, which premieres Wednesday night on NBC.
