NBC Olympics Live

- 8:10 p.m. ET: OK, Ive come out of my barometric chamber, where Ive spent the day to avoid hearing London Olympic results until I can see things with my own eyes in NBCs sliced-and-diced primetime Olympic coverage. Im blogging all night.
(USA Today)- A blunder during one of Michael Phelps races Tuesday has confirmed that NBCs live stream of Olympic events is not actually live. A delay of at least a couple of seconds set up a spoiler in the outcome of Phelps 200-meter butterfly race.
(Los Angeles Times)- (CNN)-- Guy Adams, the Los Angeles-based journalist whose Twitter account was suspended after blasting NBC over its Olympics coverage the networks decision not to air many events live, including the opening ceremonies.
(CNN)- A Today exclusive - live from London. Tomorrow Despite the gaffes, the Olympics have been a ratings winner for NBC.
(YAHOO!)- Like it or not, NBC is doing what it said it would do and has always done: Hold back marquee Olympic action for prime-time TV. Whats different this time is you can watch everything live - via the Olympic world TV feed - on NBCOlympics.
(USA Today)- media website for tweeting the email address of an NBC executive in a critical post about NBCs decision not to show the Olympic opening ceremony live. The move caused some to criticize NBC for a heavy-handed attempt to punish a critic.
(YAHOO!)- NBCs Live Extra app was supposed to provide more choice for more people. I cant access it from the U.K., so I cant evaluate it.
