  • Matt Barkley is returning to USC, but there are still several quality quarterbacks available in the upcoming NFL draft.

  • Even though the Indianapolis Colts won the Andrew Luck Sweepstakes, they should definitely consider trading their pick. In fact, I think it would behoove them to trade the pick.

  • After finishing the season with a 5-11 record, the Redskins will hold the sixth overall pick in the NFL draft this spring.

  • The St. Louis Rams (second overall) and Arizona Cardinals (13th) know their places in the NFL draft order for 2012. The Seattle Seahawks know theyll pick 11th or 12th pending a coin flip to break a tie with Kansas City.

  • The Oakland Raiders wrapped up a disappointing 2011 campaign with a disheartening loss to the San Diego Chargers on Sunday. The Raiders had a chance to clinch the AFC West with a win but came up short in the effort, thus ending their season.

  • With one more week in the books and another loss under their belts, the Washington Redskins have edged into the seventh spot in the projected order of the 2012 NFL draft.
