- Did one week change everything? When the Los Angeles Clippers were able to complete a trade for Chris Paul-- a trade the Los Angeles Lakers were denied -- the city was abuzz with the rise of its other NBA team.
(ESPN)- [Lakers coach Mike] Brown, however, did critique Bryants defense. After Chauncey Billups hit a 3-pointer in the third quarter when Bryant was slow to close out, Brown immediately called timeout even though it was just 53 seconds after halftime.
